A&P Show

Recently Room 5 entered the A&P Show;biscuit , fruit and vegetable novelty. I didn't get any placings but here are the biscuit novelty placings from Room 5; Cullen got first place, Emily got 2nd, Floss got 3rd. Here are the very highly commended from Room 5;Cullen, Klara and Emilia. Here are the Year 4 fruit and vegetable novelty from Room 5; Lily got first and Callum got very highly commended. For the fruit and vegetable novelty I made a whale. For the decorated biscuit I made a pattern that had Green and Blue decorations with  Blue icing.My favorite part of making the whole entire making  was probably eating the biscuit after we had done with the other one.

Bidge Valley Camp

Last week on Thursday and half of Friday Room 5 and I  went to Bridge Valley Camp were we did heaps of different activities.Also Room 9, 16 and 7 went on camp with us too.

I am proud of going on the water slide 9 times because last time I did it I only did the water slide twice.

My highlight was probably doing every thing with water and that was kayaking, water slide, and the hydro slide as well as caving.

My Grandad

This is all about my Grandad hope you like it.

My Grandad !!!

   My Grandad's eyes are the clean river water.

His thin hair is like cats fur.

He always wears his oval glasses when he reads his book or the news paper.

He has flaky , crackly , soft skin. Grandad usually wears his work clothes.  

These are pants and a dark blue t-shirt with a pear and apple on the right hand corner.

My Grandad is bubbly like the bubbly chocolate that you get in the super market or dairy. 

He is kind , cherry, 

loving everyday.

Grandad is confident in what ever he does.

He's a joker. He will always take a lame joke out of his mouth.

Grandad is sporty like a giant.

Some times he goes for a ride during the week days.

He comes home from work early so he can go for a bike ride .

When he will go to the garden and fix up the weeds daily.

He is a coffee maniac when it comes to drinking coffee he sips very slowly.

Ba boom ba boom ba boom my heart was pounding at this moment.First stop the muddy front field I didn't get caught there neither did Floss , Floss and I where buddied up for the whole game of Manhunt.Now Emelia was in half of the class was in by now.I had gone around the school twice.I was so nervous at this time.Cullen and Lucas are a tagger I was in the moment but still biting my fingernails.I dashed up the front steps I couldn't believe I rolled my ankle and then I got tagged by Lucas.I caught Anna and Ruby M.Two minutes later we shoved back into the boiling class.

Something interesting was that the land moves to another place so it doesn't join up or match up to  the ground again. 

I would not have liked to have be in the Christchurch Earthquake because if you didn't have a supply kit you might get very cold or not have any water. 

One question I have is would you have to pay for the damage or does the  Mayor pay for it ?
